Nathan was commissioned to develop a bespoke system for our company which recorded a transaction in detail from an initial survey to the final invoice. A large contract from a Government Agency necessitated a quick development and the confidence in the system to use it “live” during the development phase. The system incorporates contact management as well as survey and financial matters and I have been extremely pleased with the outcome of the project. Networking of the system has allowed all our staff to access the same basic information. The added control over all of the quotation process has probably meant that the system has already paid for itself. The project has gone very well and I have no hesitation in recommending Nathan. | [4] Collins Skiphire Collins Skip Hire is a busy waste management company in East Anglia. We run four depots, and twenty lorries across Suffolk and North Essex from one central office. Three years ago we operated using spreadsheets, and manually created delivery tickets and invoices daily for every job using our accounts package. This was time-consuming, laborious and hard to control. With an ever-increasing workload, we needed one piece of software that could manage our skip deliveries, invoicing and customer database, as well as improving efficiency and accuracy. The database needed to hold customer contact details together with information on every site we serviced, and a schedule of all jobs on each site, for that particular customer. It was also important that this database would ease the production of invoices/delivery tickets. Further to this, we wanted to be able to see at a glance the jobs booked in for any given day, and use that facility to produce worksheets for each driver. After working with Nathan, we have a far more sophisticated piece of software than we first envisaged. Virtually every aspect of our business is run through “Taskforce”. It is integrated with our accounts software not only to produce invoices with ease but also to aid credit control. We manage areas such as long-term rentals, permit applications, weight based disposal plus much more on this system. From the outset we have been able to approach Nathan with confidence. Whether we have a change we want to discuss, or have a question we need to ask, Nathan is always approachable. Given this, over the last two years we have added features to meet our needs as they arise. Nathan and his software are flexible enough to deal with this. This flexibility was one of the major factors that made us choose a bespoke piece of software from Nathan rather than an off the shelf alternative. Our industry is undergoing many changes and is becoming increasingly competitive, and we must adapt to stay ahead of the rest, and we believe Nathan's software is an important part of allowing us to do so.
